Claude Monet

Claude Monet drawn by me in Japanese ukiyo-e style. Claude loved Japanese prints and had them all over his house and studio.

24 million acres of Australia burned. 400 megatons of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere.

My Little Pony

Most people don’t know this about me but I’ve always collected My Little Pony dolls. I’ve done this religiously for years. I’ve now amassed a few hundred. If at this point in your reading of this, you actually believe me then you are nuts. These belonged to my nieces when they were little. I drew them for the hell of it. But Deep down, I really do like them. Notice that my sister glued a piece of candy corn onto one of them to make it a unicorn many moons ago.

Scowering

Over the Christmas holiday I would go with my nieces when they were walking their dogs. As they acted like normal human beings, I would scower the ground for dead leaves. My nieces took little notice of my peculiarities because they are well aware of my illness. While each had a leash in her hand I was loaded up with twigs and berries.

Colin

When my nephew Colin was little and I drew his toys, he’d get super excited to see what I’d accomplished. Then he would hunt for other things for me to draw. Now that he’s 11 years old, the magic has seemed to have worn off. I recently did this drawing of his toys at his house. When he came home from school, I struggled to get him to barely glance at it for half a second. “Whatever.” The jaded little fellow has seen my drawing tricks too many times. Oh well.

Clothes Off Clothes On

Continuing my tradition of drawing people in clothing, sitting around sketching people with no clothing on. It never stops being weird. Once again at Bat Haus in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
