When I get out to the countryside, I begin by drawing the ground. I’m like a horticulturist. The problem is I can’t tell a plant from a flower from a weed. It doesn’t matter because I just sketch everything. It all looks groovy to me. Being a squirrel, I did know what an acorn was. I get lost in this kind of drawing and never quite know when to stop. So at some point I just give up.
